Wyndham Budget Results
Wyndham has received $85 million for funding at Werribee Mercy hospital. The new funding will provide 64 new inpatient beds and multiple new operating theatres.
It will also provide eight critical care beds as part of this upgrade, which is crucially important for Werribee Mercy’s health care capabilities. It will reduce emergency wait times and provide a greater range of services for Wyndham residents.
Wyndham has also received a $7 million dollar upgrade for Werribee Secondary College, which will revitalise inadequate facilities which date back to the 1940’s.
As part of future growth the Andrews Government has committed $6.4 million to acquiring land at Davis Creek Primary. Land has also been acquired for Point Cook Senior in the neighbouring seat of Altona.
