Prime Minister For Sydney Strikes Again
Not content with repeatedly short-changing Victorians on infrastructure funding, a desperate Malcolm Turnbull is now sending even more money to his home town of Sydney.
Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas today slammed the Turnbull Government after reports it would fund a $100 million transport hub in Bennelong, despite nearly half of all federal infrastructure funding already going to NSW.
This blatant pork barrelling is yet more proof that Malcolm Turnbull is the Prime Minister of Sydney, not the leader of the country.
Despite being home to more than 25 per cent of the nation’s population, Victoria continues to receive just 10 per cent of federal infrastructure funding.
In contrast, Turnbull’s home state of New South Wales receives a whopping 45 per cent.
With the fastest growing economy in the nation, Victorians are being short-changed by the Turnbull Government to the tune of $7.5 billion.
