BOOST FOR EMERGENCY VOLUNTEERS IN WERRIBEE

 

Victorian emergency management volunteers are getting a well-deserved funding boost thanks to the Victorian Government’s $15 million Emergency Services Volunteer Sustainability Grants program.

Hundreds of grant applications for equipment, communications, facility upgrades and community engagement and training have already been received from volunteer organisations across the state.

Member for Werribee, Tim Pallas announced that the Werribee Fire Brigade has been successful in their grant application for $1,247 to fund event presentation and recognition for 31 members receiving the National Emergency Medal.

 

This grant recognises the crucial work emergency volunteers in Werribee do in keeping the community safe.
