BUILDING CONNECTIONS WITH NEW MEN’S SHEDS GRANTS

The Andrews Labor Government is supporting wellbeing in communities across the state with further funding to establish, expand or improve men’s sheds.

Today Member for Werribee Tim Pallas announced applications have opened for grants through the $1 million men’s sheds program.

Men’s sheds provide a place for people to get together, work on common projects and contribute to their community.

In the 2022-23 grant round, men’s shed groups can again apply for a grant of up to $80,000 for the construction of a new shed or the extension or refurbishment of an existing shed.

There are currently more than 360 communities with men’s sheds throughout Victoria.
