PRESERVING WYNDHAM’S LOCAL HISTORY
Community groups across Victoria are being recognised for preserving, recording and sharing their community’s local history.
Member for Werribee Tim Pallas today congratulated Werribee River Association Inc. on receiving funding as part of the Victorian Government’s Local History Grants Program.
The Werribee River Association received $5,500 to go towards their efforts in shining the spotlight on Werribee’s rich and diverse history through the publication if its’ 40 Years of Waterway Protection project.
They are among 53 community groups across Victoria sharing in $350,000 as part of the 2020 round of Local History Grants.
