WYNDHAM STUDENTS RECOGNISED AT PREMIER’S VCE AWARDS
Students from Wyndham were among Victoria’s top performing VCE students recognised with Premier’s VCE Awards during a special ceremony at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Minister for Education James Merlino presented the awards to the high-achieving students and congratulated them on their hard work.
Wyndham students from Werribee Secondary College, Heathdale Christian College and Suzanne Cory High School were among those who received a Premier’s VCE Award.
A total of 274 Victorian students received 302 awards across 85 subjects, including 276 Study Awards, 23 Top All-Round VCE High Achiever Awards and three Top International Student Awards.
The Top All-Round VCE High Achiever awards recognise those students who achieved study scores of 46 or higher out of 50 in at least five VCE subjects, while Study Awards recognise the very best performers in individual VCE subjects.
