Building the Education State in Regional Victoria
The Treasurer, Tim Pallas, today visited Kyneton Secondary College and Castlemaine Secondary College to officially announce significant funding boosts for both schools.
He announced a total of $5 million for Kyneton Secondary College to build a Trades Hub, in addition to another $8 million for the Kyneton Primary School rebuild.
The $5 million will go to upgrade the trade wing and build a vocational education and training hub for the Macedon Ranges as part of the Kyneton Education Precinct.
He also announced a total of $8 million to modernise Castlemaine Secondary College, which includes $2.5 million for the Stage 2 upgrade and a high tech engineering, chemistry and physics precinct.
